M.Sc BIOTECHNOLOGY
|
OBJECTIVES
P.G. Degree in Biotechnology has been recently introduced
by the Bangalore
University. It is a potential subject with a vast scope,
providing employment opportunities in the fields of
Agriculture, Horiculture, Healthcare, Diagnostics, Research
etc., special preference to the students of Biotechnology
is given in employment. The course imparts training
in all aspects of Biotechnology. The scope and content
of the course and the pattern of the University exam
shall be as stipulated in the syllabus prescribed by
the University.
ELIGIBILITY
B.Sc Degree from any recognised University
with 50% marks (45% in cafe of SC/ST) in all the three
optional individually, Chemistry/Biochemistry is compulsory.
The other two are are any of the following : Biotechnology,
Microbiology, Botany, Zoology, Environmental Science,
Genetics & Sericulture.
