ELIGIBILITY
3 years Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
from any recognized University with minimum of 50% marks
in aggregate (45% marks in case of SC/ST candidates)
of all subjects, including languages.
INNOVATIVENESS
The institute has a band of learned, experienced and
dedicated teachers, professional and executives, who
are teaching, guiding and preparing the most suitable
young executives to attain professionalism in their
careers by integrating teaching methods with exposure
to realities of industrial life. Project work in between
the terms is a must and they will be in and with reputed
industries.
SUMMER TRAINING
Students have to undergo a six weeks training programme
in an organisation and submit a report on the same at
the end of the second semester.
PROJECT WORK(INDIVIDUAL)
Students have to take up some projects concerning a
functional area of management, work under a guide during
the fourth semester and present a report for evaluation
purposes.
The project report carries 100 marks. The students will
have a viva voce after the submission of the project
reports, which will carry 100 marks.
DURATION OF THE COURSE
The two year (Four Semester) full time
Master of Business Administration is a post graduate
day course designed for the direct entry of students
into management cadre of Private and Public Sector organisations.
The course is approved by All India Council for Technical
Education, New Delhi and is affiliated to the Bangalore
University. This is a revised scheme with a new curriculum
with a view to develop a "Learning Manager".
This new curricula lays emphasis on developing practical
skills in management to adapt to the fast changing world. |

Institution offering BBM programme reserves the right
to offer any 
particular elective group and determine the number of
candidates to be admitted under each elective group
subject to approval of the University.
SPECIALISATION STREAM
A candidate has to take a minimum of
6 course in the specialisation Stream to qualify in
the specialization. As an alternative, if his/her dissertation
topic is in a Specialization Stream, he/she has to take
a minimum of four more subjects in that stream. This
is to facilitate some students to choose more than one
Specialisation Stream (for example, dissertation in
marketing plus four electives in marketing and six subjects
in finance leads to specialisation in both Marketing
and Finance). |
